Update - 17 Weeks to Ironman Texas.
I don't have much to report this week. The swim, bike, run routine continues. I am not sure how my fitness is going to be at IMTX but I will make it to the finish.
My Flickr has been updated to include many pictures from 2010. This was the last year I raced.
I am really enjoying my new Felt bike. I think it is going to work out well but I am still tweaking things.
The other news is that I got a shipment from Sugoi. I will include some short reviews of the gear in upcoming posts. It is safe to say that it is all great stuff.

Sick and some great news
I have been battling a cold / flu on and off for about a month now. This has definitely affected my training. Hopefully I am in the home stretch of this illness because I only have nineteen weeks until Ironman Texas. Consistency will be the key from here on out.
In other news I was selected as a Sugoi Brand Champion for the 2012 season! I will be training and racing in Sugoi gear this season. I can't wait. They have some very nice products.

It has been about a month since I began to focus my training on Ironman texas. I have been spending a lot of time on the trainer because it has been starting to get cold here in Maine.
Bike workouts are mostly courtesy of the Sufferfest. If you are looking for some great trainer workouts for a reasonable price I suggest you check them out.
I have also returned to the pool after about a year away. I am spending the first twelve weeks back following the Finding Freestyle program. It has been pretty good so far but I am only on week two.
Nothing to report on the run front.
I should have pictures of the new Felt B2 up soon!! I have ridden it inside a couple times and am pretty happy so far.

dsemtp's photostream on Flickr.
Here are some photos from a couple of years ago. 2007 I think. There will be many more to follow.

The trip back to Ironman has begun! After a year off I plan to return to racing in a big way next year. The Ironman Legacy program has reenergized me and I plan on doing three full distance races in 2012. First up is Ironman Texas in a little less than six months. I have been running essentially pain free for four months, so it's full steam ahead.
A lot has happenend in the last couple of weeks:
1) I have started to change my working out to a more Ironman specific plan.
2) I bought a new bike that should be here next week
3) I returned to the pool after a year away
4) I have been accepted to the Rudy Project "BRO" program so I will be wearing their gear for the next three years - I am super happy about that because Rudy Project glasses are the best.
Check back here for updates on my training and racing.
